Eric Samuel is a senior member of the Services Team and leads the Middle East and North Africa ICT Market Opportunity and Digital Business Strategies subscription service program. Eric’s research coverage includes analyzing the competitiveness of services providers in technology-specific services areas to address CIO requirements. He provides strategic advice and develops strategies for services providers by leveraging his experience in market sizing, competitive analysis, portfolio development, ecosystem evolution, new business opportunity identification, and market entry strategies.

Prior to coming to IDC, Eric worked as a senior analyst for KPMG and developed thought leadership documents for government and technology industry associations such as NASSCOM, CII, and IBEF. He developed the growth strategy for KPMG India's IT and BPO practice.

Eric Samuel earned an MBA in finance from Bangalore University and a B.Tech. in electronics and communications from the Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences. He is frequently quoted in local media and technology magazines.
